Did the Cotton Bowl outprice the raucous LSU fans?

It seemed like a lot of LSU fans were sitting on their hands for most of the game and never made much noise. The A&M fans weren't really that loud either. Could it be something with the way the stadium's configured? It was a little disappointing.

Were you in the uppers or the student section? The sound must not travel down to the field.

I felt like we weren't making a difference in noise level at all when we were yelling. It was about 65-35 A&M favor though, which is why I don't think we really made a difference, so maybe I'm just used to a full stadium. I felt like they were pretty loud though, don't know what you were hearing.

The loudest the LSU fans got was for that 4th and 1 in the 4th quarter in an 18 point game...

It sounded like I was in a barrel in that stadium. acoustics suck big time plus it was hot as hades. they should have opened the roof

Anyone see how many tickets were sold by LSU? I realize there are a ton of alums in the Dallas area that might have picked them up elsewhere.
