Did our D lose all of its swag when we lost TM7?

Still a solid D but seems our cockiness and confidence has fizzled a bit. I don't see us dominating and letting them know it. Say what u want about shite talking but it is rooted in confidence.

It seems like we dont have a spark without him. He would always do something amazing and that would get the whole team amped up. We just don't have that this year.

What this team needs a is a few leaders from both sides of the ball to come forth and do what leaders do.

I was watching the game with a buddy of mine (a long time HS coach) who I took to the LSU-S.Carolina game in 2007. By his own admition he has no dog in the fight when LSU plays. Just prior to the game he made the comment that when he has seen LSU this season that the entire team has lost as he put it "that badass, we're here to f you up because we're bigger, badder, meaner than you swagger....They've just looked uniterested even when I watched some of the Washington game."
His take on it was that last year's team was able to take all the turmoil that included JJ-vs-JL, suspensions and the toughest schedule in college football and use it to keep the fire lit. He thinks for whatever reason this team isn't able to use adversity for motivation.

Yes we are missing the SWAG b/c of TM7 being out. Too many young players being played. Focused on roles no time for SWAG yet.

Defense looked bad. Lots of arm tackling and little effort. That team drove on us. Shouldn't happen against a talented team. No excitement whatsoever.

Too many guys trying to replace TM and not enough guys playing within themselves and fundamental football
