Geez, excuse me for asking, but weren't Miles and Cameron still coaching when Etling replaced Harris? Is it so damned hard to understand giving a returning starter, who looked good in practice, a chance to keep his job? Hindsight is 20/20. Things look different in the fog of war. Miles is out. How long are the miserable fricks on this board going to keep thinking up new ways to keep bashing him? LET IT GO ALREADY! How many mistakes will O have to make before you turn on him?

Miles cost LSU a lot of games by running into loaded boxes stupidly but he made more than $100,000 a week for managing the big cat drills.

LF7 will have his main stage Two Saturday's from now. If he has a break out game, he'll be back in the Heisman talk.

A couple of ankle injuries caused Fournette to fall out of the Heisman race up to now. That's it. But if he can stay healthy and continue to have big games, especially in November, everything can change.

Yeah and his ankle got hurt during Miles' dumbass practices. Once again. CLM's fault.

I assure you that either Washington, Clemson, or Michigan will drop a game this year. Possibly all 3 will lose a game.

If LSU runs the table, they're in over Bama.

Yes, and he's also cost us at least one national championship.

dukke, what is there about the post by BigSlick that makes you use that emoticon twice, or for that matter, even once?

Etling started playing when Miles and Cameron were still the head coach and OC.

Harris started every game a year ago. Why shouldn't he have started the Wisconsin game?

Even if Etling was out performing Harris in practice before that game, there were reports that Etling was hurt the week before Wisconsin.

And Harris was pulled after the first quarter against Jacksonville State.

So what is there about BigSlicks' post that you don't agree with? You always go on and on about what a big football fan you are and how knowledgeable you are. Clue me in pal.

No doubt about it. Kept him from winning the heisman and breaking the single game rushing record more than once. Fournette will go down as the best or one of the best backs to ever grace the field but miles kept him from several records.

Miles had the greatest weapon in college football and constantly ran him into a 9 and 10 man box.
and he gained 100-200 yards every game doing it. What cost him the heisman was the Bama game. And if you actually watched that game last year, you'll know he didn't run into 9-10 man boxes. Alabama didn't stack the box. They didn't have to. They were that good.

Agreed. If a player can lose the Heisman based on their November stats, it would be pretty hypocritical if a player can't win it in November as well.

I think Fournette could have sat and ogeron could have won vs Wisconsin. Have a (possibly) fresh Fournette and/or guice vs auburn and ogeron could have won that.

Forgetting the losses, Fournette would have been better sitting a game or 2 from the beginning when they found out he had an ankle sprain.

If Miles wasn't here fournette would be wearing burnt orange or crimson.

Yes because Miles couldn't pass to even save his own neck, it allowed our opposition to load up the box.
