He demonstrated that he's nothing more than a hack and a mouthpiece for the LSU AD, at least with regard to the Wade story.

Dellenger got report from both sides. On top of that, he was one of the media members that Will Wade texted his 2nd statement too

like wtf planet are you on right now

I used to but now I take what he writes with a grain of salt. He has proven that he is a mouth piece for the Administration. I still listen to him and read his stuff but I wonder sometime about his agenda.

Should he not report the news?

I don't know but I'm in good company.

I don't know how you can say he reported both sides after listening to him for hours on ESPN radio and WWL, doing a guest segment with every host in the lineup, making sure they were well versed on the LSU AD's talking points, spouting them off one after another as if they were facts (we'll have to agree to disagree on that part).

When I have more time I'll dig up his SI piece if you would like to show exactly what I take exception to and why.

Eta: Listening on the radio, he came across like an LSU employee, not an objective journalist.

There are numerous issues involved where each side disputes what is factual. Delleger absolutely took sides.

It's not objective to you because you do not like what he is saying.

He is simply reporting facts on the situation as he knows it.

The timing of the Yahoo / Forde article was amazingly suspicious.

What's their and Dellenger's take on Kansas / Duke and Zion?

There are plenty of other examples in that vein.

Like I've said in other threads, name the anonymous sources and publish the FBI wire tap transcript along with the FBI's certification of same.

In the meantime, check "Alleva / Duke Lacrosse Team" in the Google.

You might be enlightened about how this sometimes works.

But, given your propensity to be the Rant's leading contrarian voice no matter what....

I doubt it.

What is Dellenger's "take" on LSU?

He isn't giving opininons on the matter.

There are no "takes". He's reporting stuff that you do not want to hear. Therefore you think it's a "take".

Like I said, we'll have to agree to disagree about that for now.

I can make the same argument in reverse.

I don't feel like going around in circles with you right now. Maybe later...

Semantics aside, how about a documented factual basis with allegations backed up by people making them with their names on the record?

If the allegations are mere opinions, that makes the whole affair enormously egregious.

It's called "circular logic" for a reason.

What a shame that unnamed sources enabled by unaccountable journalists, abetted by a willing LSU executive admin are used to destroy LSU's basketball season.

Very sad that some believe this without concrete proof.

Hmmm...

Hard to misspell a two letter word, but you managed to.
