TT is great as a CFB QB, but he's not a pure passer.

I've been saying this for 2 years

because of 1 bad throw?

and the throw really wasn't that bad...it was a little high, but if Big T wouldn't have been in mid-stride, he would have at least been able to get a hand on it to deflect it...I think LEE is playing very well...our problem is not the QB people!!!

So what is your point?

my point is that I expect Lee to have success since he is set up to win... this is not your average situation for a redshirt frosh QB starting.. Below is what Lee has:

Crowton as OC
Byrd, a future 1st rounder, as WR
Lafell, an NFL midrounder, as WR
Toliver, a likely future 1st rounder, as WR
Dickson, an All-SEC TE
An OL that is as good and experienced as any in the nation, with probably 3 high draft picks from it
All-SEC caliber RB Chuck Scott and 5-star KW, both future NFL backs, as well as Richard Murphy

It's not like Lee has to do anything spectacular other than hand the ball off and hit open WRs...I'd say his situation is better than 99% of any redshirt froshs in this world get to come in to

exactly, that is what he has done.

He's done fine for a RS FR.

and too call those guys future 1st rounders is very premature.

well, his 2 pics at Florida were killers...as were a few missed throws that were very key

could we have beat the Gators with our D? ...probably not, but we should have kept up better as bad as their defense is... Jevan Snead had more success against Florida than Lee did

if he had more PT to pad his stats against our 2 shittiest opponents UNT and ASU, he'd likely be the 2nd highest-rated passer in the SEC

If he had more PT against UNT and ASU, they would have had to be come from behind victories as well.

I just watched Lee's horrible pass to Toliver on the replay right before the half... no pressure, all day to pass...Toliver is 6'5 ad wide open crossing the field with no one in between... Lee steps and throws a routine pass behind and over a 6'5 WR and its a pic with 2 mins to go in the half...

they score easy in a couple of plays and go into halftime with momentum and a lead instead of a tie...

He did not have a terrible game. In fact, he had several very good throws.

Having said that, he's not there yet. His footwork is closer to terrible than good. And, it is affecting his accuracy and arm strength at times. He needs time. The game has to slow down for him. The guy is playing like a freshman at times which shouldn't surprise anyone. He's got a lot of potential.

our defense in UF was killer...by the time LEE through that second pick, the game was already over IMO...Romo couldn't have saved us in that game dude. Lee is doing fine

should have scored on the INT return...

bottomline: TD

just saw where Lee should have had another pic throwing into double coverage on last pass of the half
