If that was the only reason, JJ would have started long before WKU. imo
And if you didn't see last night why JJ is "playing", I'm not sure you should be talkin' bout the pet or favorite of any others.

Stop thinking so logically and unemotionally.

I can'twait till next year.
Then we can hear these idiots crying for Rivers or Randle. Some things never change I'm confident that JJ beat Arky with not a single incomplete pass and 10 rushing TD's then do the same to UGA and Bana in the BCSNC or whoever we play and certain posters here will still have to bitch

JJ is a better runner and Les wants this to be a running team. That is really all there is to it.

No because that would be a baseless assumption. But whatever makes you feel better.

I am a big fan of Lee, always thought he was the better QB of the two, but after watching JJ play last night I was very encouraged by what I saw.
If, and its a big if, JJ can play like that for three more games, then we will steam roll Arkansas, Georgia, and whatever poor team has to play us for it all.

Let's just hope they both play well enough for us to win Friday.
It's still the D that is carrying us, and if we get 24 on the board in ANY game, we will win.

There will be at least 2 sacks of JJ because he hangs on to the ball to long.

If he underperforms then lee will go in. He was yet to put is in an iffy situation so there hasn't been a reason to sit him. Miles will not keep jj in if jj isn't able to get it done.

Amazing how people discount that we would not have won the Alabama game without DEFENSE.
Fixed it for you pal. And we are not more explosive on offense w/ JJ. That's just retarded.

I imagine Krags and Studs are behind this also, not just a CLM decision.
This is the feeling I'm getting. Even more so with Krags.

JJ is playing because he is better and more difficult for the other team's defense to prepare for.
You usually are not such a whiner. What gives?

I'm sure every other player on the team is more concerned with winning than Lee's playing time. Why do people care more about his feelings than those of the whole team?
+ a zillion
Jefferson holds the ball to long and Lee is frantic in the pocket when pressured. The lesser of the two evils is Jefferson. Lee still throws some dangerous balls in my opinion.

We are just now getting a chance to see if JJ's preseason hype was deserved.

he is a better passer than JJ IMO

This is the best paragraph in this thread thusfar. I agree completely with you. I want the kid who gives us the best chance to win to play the majority of the snaps.
I think that people pointing to solid if not spectacular play against Ole Miss & downright inconsistent play against Western Kentucky as a validation of Miles' decision is premature, at best.
Arkansas will be the true test. If he passes, then I'll be sold. If we stumble between now & the national title, then Miles enters a crucible of critical questions the likes of which very few-if any-coaches have ever seen or experienced before.
But, we looked outstanding last night. I've heard at least three different rumors, from academics to attendance to trust regarding this ascension of Jefferson/stumbling on the part of Lee, however you want to put it.
I feel lucky that we have two kids that can get the job done, and I feel even more lucky that we have a team of playmakers & athletes around them that can build them up.

Like when the corner or LB was in his face on a blitz a second after the snap and he threw the TD to Shep? Or when the pocket collapsed and he scrambled for a first down?
