I think that Jefferson just brings more to the position than Lee.
If the coaches thought this why did they wait until the Alabama game to give him significant playing time. I agree that Lee should have been benched during the Alabama game, but my God, he might as well not even be on the team now. I have never seen someone "have it and lose it" so many times throughout one career. As a freshman, they waited too long to yank him. As a senior, two ints in one half and you are gone for the rest of the season.

Can we just agree miles is playing JJ because he is his pet or favorite.
no, we can't agree with that...

I'd rather a time consuming ground game vs aerial assault against Arky.
Me too, but Arky is the #3 team in the country. You have to be able to adapt. Pounding it out and keeping their O off the field is the way to go...but if they manage to stiffen up in the red zone and we're settling for field goals, then it will be a tough game. The problem is we'll throw JL in there and expect him to make big plays and get frustrated when we struggle. It's a "no win" for him. If he lights it up he gets pulled, if he throws a pick...omg he sucks. The kid can't catch a break.
We have not dominated week after week like this in forever. He has been a big part of that.

Amazing how people discount that we would not have won the Alabama game without Jefferson.

Do you know that for sure?
I'm 99.8724% sure...

I think you are too fricking stupid to understand the context of the sentence North typed. Go back to 6th grade English and give it a try.

Do you find it impossible to believe that Miles plays Jefferson because he thinks that, overall, Jefferson makes the offense better?

this is more like telling you whether or not it's raining outside...
the bottom line is 1) Les knew last week that facing Bama is again very likely, 2) Lee has no chance against the Alabama D as clearly shown by his 2 panic throws.
What everyone seems to be missing is that, as effective as it was, the offense was highly managed prior to Alabama to limit mistakes. We were only running about 15 plays most of those games.

Elleshoe - Context or no context it was a stupid thing for him to say that Lee might as well not even be on the team now. That's a dumb statement no matter how u spin it.

The shitty stupid kids part got me.

good god you are a fricking idiot. he meant he is playing so little it is as if Lee isn't even on the team. not that Lee shouldn't be on the team now.

if there are a couple teams that JJ has traditionally played well against its ole miss and arkansas (and bama to an extent)
people shouldnt even spend any more time on this matter, it just is what it is. but rantards gonna rant hard. thought jj played well but i do feel for lee. it'll be all good when they hoist that crystal ball together. #realtalk
