Can't imagine how LDs would work in a coaching contract.
Loss of ticket revenue?
New coach hire expense?
LSU or any college would not be a party to an outside coach's LD clause, nor could a mere coach afford such terms vs the financial power of his employer.

Go to the coaching changes board And read the contract where it specifically details the LDs, to which I summarized earlier. This is not rocket science guys. It’s business 1001, which is apparent y’all didn’t take

I am sorry he said buyout which normal is commonly used when a coach leaves a school to take another job and thus owes the school money.

I think he actually got any buyout taken out of his contact in his last extension when he was being mentioned for NFL jobs.

That’s uncommon. Typically a coach that breaks his contract owes a “buyout” to the school. This is the norm. You didn’t know this.

Yes maybe if this was legal filing there would be confusion. Buyout means two things in the football world buyout to coach who is fired and buyout to school of coach who takes other job. Save your LD for court.
