I wish we could just drop this JJ vs. JL debate. It's pointless.

I am inclined to lean this way. I don't think it matters which one LSU uses, if the game plan adjusts.

I think QB play isn't going to be the main factor against Alabama.

You have to make Alabama's offense, and more specifically their passing game beat you. If you give up points to their special teams or their defense, you're dead in the water.

I noticed he feinted the pitch on one of the runs and got DE to bite.
That was a nice play.

what about his rushing tds?
What about when he came out of the game and someone other than JJ ran it in?
I was comparing passing TDs.

There is no comparison for rushing TDs. Lee did not have any.

Also why are we talking just the last 5 games, why not the season? Who had the better qb rating? I'm not denying JJ played well the last 5. He did.
Because Jefferson got better. He learned. He improved.

If Jefferson did great at the beginning of 2010 and sucked the rest of the year, then you'd get no argument from me. However, he got better. He learned. He improved.

Jefferson's trend is up. He is a good QB at passsing and at running. That experience should be ustilized if it gives LSU a better chance to succeed.

You can't mean this. Crowton has been used repeatedly as the scapegoat on everything from climate change to Mike refusing to get in his cage.

JJ was 7/12 with 0 TD's and 1 INT and only averaged 3.8 yards per carry with his ellusive dual threat legs

clearly JJ is not needed

see what I did nitpicking stats?
This is called cherry picking. You picked Lee's best game to compare stats. Again, that is called cherry picking.

So you will deny that Lee came out some times when he got us to the redzone last year?

thats not what i'm asking ,but i think you know that already

He has become a pretty good running qb, but I wouldn't go as far as to say he's a good passing qb to this point.

You also aren't factoring in that JJ played weaker competition last year compared to Lee.

Ahem

And I was right. Look out how efficient Maryland's offense is right now under the Wizard.

You are not allowed to use the first five games of last season when comparing JJ to Lee...!!!!!!!! .(fingers in ears, hands over eyes..)

Now I'm confused. I thought it was Obama's fault who blames Bush who blames....can't keep up with who's fault it is.

By I have noticed the play calling seems less confusing this year. There is a lot less miscommunication on the field.

It's okay. You have to fight to maintain your pretense of objectivity. It's cool. I get it.

Keep up the good fight though, You obviously believe JJ desperately needs your PR campaign.
I only post to refute the ignorance posted on the boards.

The board tends to perpetuate myths.

Myths like Jefferson is bad because he only threw 7 TDs last year, even though Lee only two.

Myths like Jefferson is bad because he had so few games over 100 yards last year, even though Lee had three games in which Lee had more pass attempts than Jefferson and two other games in which Lee had the same or 1 fewer pass attempts than Jefferson.

another stat for you

in JJ's last SEC game he started (seems relevant), he had 0 passing TD's, 0 rushing TD's, and took 4 sacks....FOUR!
