Did Deshawn Womack play against Miss State?

Sorry if asked, could not watch the gsme, but did Womack play ? Another question i had, how did Masson Smith Look.

Yes Womack did play, and Maason looked good. Still has a ways to go before he’s back to pre injury Maason Smith but it’s a process and I think you’ll see him get closer to that every week.

Womack switched from #17 to #16. He got some playing time early in the first quarter in 3rd and long situations. I had to look the roster up mid game because he caught my eye. Definitely looks the part

It’ll go unnoticed because no stats were recorded, but Maason had two pass rushes where he forced the QB to get rid of the ball in less than a second after putting a swim move on the Oline and having a beeline to the QB.
It was glimpses of what we’ll see periodically

Mason are up a lot of double teams freeing others to get tackles
