Strange scenario where it was leaked and then he announced while still participating in bowl prep.

He left to go back home. There's no conspiracy. People need to accept this.

Look at his coaching history, he's always coached up north and in the midwest....where he's from.

LSU is the only stop he's ever been in the south.

Think you missed the point of the op. Question was did Denbrock leave now willingly on his own in the middle of bowl prep or was he escorted out and told to move on instead of finishing the bowl.

Don't overthink it. Kelly and Denbrock are close and have a lot of respect for eachother. This has been in place for a while and they kept it under wraps until after signing day.

Sure as most have said proximity to home and familiarity with staff.

Don’t forget he also turned down LSU for ND as well. It’s not just A&M that got jilted.

I am sure whatever happen it was mutual. Kelly and Denbrock are close. Not everything has to be this huge divorce with a soap opera storyline.

I don't think you understand the nature of the Kelly and Denbrock relationship. Neither of these guys are new to one another or the world of coaching changes. To think it wouldn't be handled professionally is just to expose your ignorance to their history coaching together. Neither of these guys has anything to prove and Denbrock's decision has less to do with football and more to do with personal preferences when it comes to his life off the field. If you understood their history and the reason for the move then you'd understand none of which you speculate is going to happen.

This is what I was looking for. Thank you for the clear, concise and on point response.

Ah yes, the great Midwestern town of Palo Alto, California. The Stanford of the north.

He also coached at Washington. I’ll give you that they were also short lived positions though.

may be true and i lean towards believing this. BUT if true, let’s just say it stayed between BK and Denbrock and went no further..

You are usually not allowed to work in two places at once where there is a conflict of interest. You can only be on one coaching staff at a time. Aggy is the exception.

Looks like a man who could not hold a job. Never stayed anymore than 3 years. 15 jobs in 36 years.

I think it was leaked that ND wanted to interview him, and BK found out and said "Hey beastie, take your heisman trophy winner and your #1 offense and get out of here"....so in short, I think he was pushed out. Ya, that makes me feel better.

That's how all coaching resumes look for the most part. Unless you've been a HC somewhere for awhile then you've likely jumped around every 3-4 years.

Could be part of the reason House is still at LSU.
