Now I did here a-hole, you suck, etc. This whole thing started to turn when we played USC and everyone started yelling "You Suck Cock" during Oweo. That was a recent occurrence my friend.

Yes. We can't play while the naming of sponsors, important LSU alumni, etc. is going on. We play when we can, and these days that means 5 maybe 6 songs.

It was "You suck, Cocks" since they are the Gamecocks. Don't some of their own student chants for their own band's songs make reference to Cocks?

That may have been what it was supposed to be.....but they make these decisions by watching what the whole county saw and heard on TV. The whole county and the decision makers heard "You Suck Cock!" on TV.....that is the fact of the matter.
ETA Regardless I'm failing to see how sucking multiple cocks is worse than sucking one

Well obviously Neck was the most vulgar, but my point is that its been going on for years. I think the banning of that song makes sense. Tiger Rag and Oweo are questionable though
We'll continue to cuss during songs/chants, but I have a hard time people will continue to come up with stuff as vulgar as Neck

No question that "You Suck Cock!" sounds bad on TV and won't be tolerated. I agree "Assholes assholes" is probably more acceptable in our society.....but still hearing a boat load of students cussing loud and clear on TV is not something LSU has in mind for its national image obviously.

It hasnt been going on for that long. You'd always have a small group of losers coming up with their own lyrics, but the whole student section doing that stuff has only been happening for the past 7-8 years.

You do realize that they didn't ban it the day after the USCE game right.....that shite continued throughout that season until they stopped playing it.

I actually agree with you here.....but obviously the decision makers don't.
ETA Regarding OWEO....they even tried to bring it back I think only to have it removed again for the same reasons.
