Did anyone attend the Corn Dog eating contest in Tuscaloosa?

Students at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa have a corn dog-eating contest before the big game against LSU Nov. 6, 2011

started in the big 12 making fun of Nebraska. Aubies are too retarded to make up their own insults so they just subbed "LSU" in everywhere "Nebraska" appeared.

If it was relevant or made fun of an actual tradition of ours then we could get insulted. This is just plain ignant.

I embrace it, mainly because it's not insulting.
We do drink a lot of grain alcohol and eat a lot of fried food, so it's possible one of us has smelled like a corndog before. Also, an open corndog mildly resembles our colors.

Surely Auburn, the school that copied songs from Georgia, Florida, and LSU, copied traditions from Ole Miss and a variety of other schools, and copied the mascot from LSU wouldn't copy an insult directed towards Nebraska and pass it off as their own high wit? Surely not.

I never understood this either. Never had a corn dog and I've never seen them being eaten around Tiger Stadium. Do they even sell them in the stadium?
