I'd imagine it was similar to the feeling I felt after the OSU-USC game. Disappointed we lost, but the atmosphere and how the action of the game went was awesome.
Well at least your disapointment could be buffered in knowing that despite being occasionally out-played as a team, Jim Tressel seldom if ever gets out-coached.

felt the D played with a lot of heart and soul ... not sure if Florida is going to run the board ... put it behind us and get ready for Auburn!

I had a great time. It sucks that we could have won and didn't but from the time we got to campus till we left, it was a great experience! the stadium was rockin'!

UF 2009 would beat LSU 2009 20 straight times if we played. Last night would be our best showing.

It was a great atmosphere, and we were in position to pull the upset.
But our offensive playcalling was pathetic - we did not give JJ much of a chance for success. We have obvious weaknesses on offense, but we also have great weapons. We can at least try to outsmart the defenses. That used to be what I thought Crowton brought to the table.
Florida was very beatable last night, and it was a huge disappointment to watch us waste the opportunity we had to look like a strong championship contender on national TV.
It's always hard to accept any loss, but it is even harder to "enjoy" witnessing firsthand a blown golden opportunity for a huge win.
Hope we learn quickly from this - I'd rather beat FL in the SECCG than last night, if we have to split with them.
Just hope we get a LOT smarter on offense after this tough lesson and at least start using all our tools and giving our offense every chance for success in all the game we have left.
IMHO, with our rapidly-improving defense and a little good fortune, every game left is winable, but only if we give our offense the support (and confidence) that comes from smart and imaginative playcalling.
The good news - we still control our own destiny, all the way to the BCS title game.

I for one can't believe Florida only score 13 minus the given TD.
Also can't believe we had 9 penalties that credited Florida's two FGs....
I just think Florida got lucky all night...
I hope to play them in the SECCG...

Great post. Of couse, if you're looking for perspective on The Rant, I think you're looking in the wrong place. That's not what this place is (or has become).
I watched the game at home and I enjoyed it. The stadium looked great. Who knew the gold out would work that well.
And there was a touch of the old magic. The D coming up big in the red zone time afte time. And when the FL kicker missed that gimme field goal I thought the old TS ghosts were making their presence felt.
I enjoyed it like I always enjoy LSU games I watch on t.v. - with family and friends, cheering like a fool in my living room when the Tigers do something good. Fussing at the t.v. when they msssed up. Even chunking the pillow at the t.v. for a bad call/no call.
Frustrated at times - sure. Loving the Tigers - definitely.

I did. It was a great game and a great experience. I love defensive football.
I hate Florida, I hate to lose, and I hate to lose to Florida. Other than that, I had a great time.
The new chant should be, "Rematch!"

I watched it from the house. 1 hour of football, 2 hours of commercials.

If I had a dollar for every time I've been told this, I wouldn't need to bet on sports to retire. LOL.
Unfortunately, my previous job did not allow for me to do this. I left my old job about a year and a half ago and have thought about it, but haven't done so.
So far this year, I would have made a fortune. UGH.

I did.
50 yard line seats: Check
Good friend with me at the game: Check
Electric Atmosphere: Check
Watching one of the best players in CFB history healthy and playing his heart out: Check
Underdog Tigers hanging with a team and said player above that they didn't match up well with: Check
Realizing our defense IS greatly improved over last year: Check
Realizing if our offense clicks just a "little", we could be a 10 win team: Check
Hit the hell out of Tebow.
I flew from PHX to watch the Tigers lay down on offense, but still had fun. The tailgating and pregame was sick.

You get email during the game? I can't get anything in or out.
