There are two Top 40 players in the country in the 2019 class at Amite, plus another 15 miles away at Kentwood. It won't be the final determinant in where they sign but we don't need the locals doing anything that promotes the chief recruiting opponent any more than they already get.

LSU need to start winning some more Nattys then they wouldn’t have to worry about that. Bottom line people naturally attach themselves to winning programs ie. Bama or NE Patriots. I’m from that area & I can tell you it’s plenty Bama fans from Kentwood back down to Hammond. Ironically there all Patriots fans too
