As I mentioned, I think this is ONLY going to happen if JL keeps throwing 8/22. So it';s up to JL. And I don't buy the "looking over the shoulder" crap. If that truly is the fault of any future JL meltdown, then he doesn't deserve to keep starting... cause surely JL HAS TO KNOW this is his team and he doesn't need to look over the shoulder.
The fate of JL rests solely in his hands... or arm.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree. 12 plays is not a lot for someone that brings a complete change of pace to what JL brings. JJ had 5 plays last game coming off 1 practice. I can see adding some more once he gets full weeks of practice in.
And contrary to what some people think, there have been plenty of times we could have used the threat of a running QB. I mean, we have punted the ball more than I would have liked so far. But guess I'm greedy.
Also, I say 12 cause I'm assuming we are and will continue to run more offensive plays per game than last season.

You know I just don't get this knock on Jefferson from a lot of you, just like the booing last week. The last time I looked he was wearing a LSU uniform. Same Jefferson that led LSU to a 12-2 record last year, same Jefferson that had to go through the BS offense Crowton had him playin in.
and during the offseason has been said to have made a lot of progress under Kragthorpe. So if this incident doesn't happen, then what if it is he that has led LSU to a 5-0 record, LSU is just servicable under Lee, do enough not to get beat and let your defense take over the game. under Jefferson they may look more explosive because of his playmaking abilty with him being able to use his legs as well as his arm. He could have very well gotten it his senior year, he did look more aggresive than I saw him in the past in his brief appearance last week. So I don't know, but I just don't get the knockin on a LSU player.
