I have no issue with this. We still have question marks. Desmond is usually pro-LSU so if he says it, that’s how he feels.
Eta- it’s hard to argue with our resume but I can see that we may not pass the dreaded eye test.

Agree. And over the years Desmond has generally been pretty supportive. I can remember him picking LSU in some big games, several of which we ended up losing. That may have been a factor.

Honestly he is right.
We looked good for a half against Miami. Then we looked horrible.
We looked meh against Southeastern as well. We really gave up a lot of yardage. ULM put up more yards against them than we did.
We looked decent on defense against Auburn. Still had a good amount of struggles.
LA Tech made us look average at times. 3 and outs. Them driving at will.
Ole Miss is the first game we really looked like we belonged at #5.
Desmond was pretty spot on. Anyone that thinks we are some super amazing team that can do whatever we want, however we want, is wearing the purple and gold toggle goggles.
The team that looks like that, is as Desmond said, Bama.

Desmond has backed us strong in the past. I respect Desmond's opinion more than any of the others for sure.

I never want LSU to lose. People just need to realize that this team isn’t some huge powerhouse with no weaknesses.
We are a good team for sure. Just not as good as tRant makes us out to be.
