1965
LSU-Tulane
We won 62-0. I believe Doug Moreau caught a two-point conversion to get the 62. I was 17 years old, and I can remember that game as though it were forty-five years ago which, if my math is correct, it was.

1967 versus Tennessee in Knoxville. Sammy Grazzafi returned a kickoff 100 yards for LSU. That record stood until Eric Martin returned one for like 103 yards vs. Kentucky in '81 or '82. I saw that one too.

Boy Scout leader called me to see if I wanted to go to LSU game to usher. After clearing with parents I went with scout leader and others with Boy Scout uniform to Baton Rouge for my first college football game. It was Halloween night in 1959! We were sitting in the lower south endzone in the aisle closer to west side about even with sideline marker. When Billy Cannon ran that punt back he was running right at us. After scoring he took a knee and paused for a while and was right in front of us. Needless to say I became an LSU fan from then on. What a memorable event. When I went to college I went to USL but still attended LSU games when I could. Now I live in the shadows of Cajun Field and have held LSU season tickets since Dinardo brought back the magic.

LSU/Tulane. 1958. At the time I was more interested in that cute blonde girl that was my date. Puberty trumped football that day.

September 4, 2004 LSU 22, Oregon State 21 in overtime. I sat through the storm that delayed the game and did not care a bit. And that night I was certain JaMarcus Russell was going to be a Pro Bowl qb and Nick Saban was building a dynasty at LSU. So it goes.

1973 maybe 1974 in Tiger Stadium. LSU ranked number 7 in AP poll and Alabama ranked number 1 in AP poll going into game.
Final Score Tigers 7 Bama 21.
Became a Tiger fan that night!

1996 lsu-alabama. i'd been hearing about this little freshman running back we had that wasn't playing much becuase the coaches said he couldn't block well enough yet. He got one carry in the first half for 6 yards, and then got 285 yards in the second half alone. great game.
That was my first game in tiger stadium, but the first game i ever saaw live that lsu played in was 1990 at doak campbell stadium.

It wasn't the very first one I went to, but the first one I clearly remember is the USC 1979 game.
It's still burned in my brain like no other sporting event I've ever been to. Crowd-wise, the closest things to it have been the Saints homecoming and NFC Championship games - and those were indoors with more people!

game @ virginia tech in 02
I was like 15 or so, visiting my sister at tech. I'm a UVA fan so I hate vt and just wanted to check out the whole SEC stuff...
My seat sucked so I went down to the LSU section in the endzone and mixed in with students down there. Game sucked, but it was a good time, kinda adopted LSU as my SEC team then, only been to a handful since then and am hoping to finally get to BR for the West Virginia game.

1969+- (I was about 8 years old)
Bert Jones throwing a touchdown near where my Dad and I were sitting. We won big and our hotel was the Capital House.
I brought my best friend from Colfax (Brian Childers) I bet he could tell you who we were playing and what the score was. Hey Brian, where ever you are.
