Damn if that ain't the deepest defensive line you've ever seen in your life, then you've lived a long damn time. Drake Nevis is 3rd string!?!?! Can't say I was expecting that.
shite damn!
Hang in there, Drake! We're gonna need you.

I'm looking forward to seeing the talent at CB this year. It'll be fun in Dime packages to see CJ and PP on the field at the same time. Hopefully McCray can pick up Jai's old forte of waving the towel. I'd hate to see him play in front of those guys.

A few questions... (Didn't feel like reading 5 pages so sorry if repeat).
A. Why didn't they release a nickel depth chart on defense since that's what we're going to be in for the first 4 games? I'd like to see if Chad Jones beat McCray for nickel...Miles kept saying he wouldn't keep Jones off the field...
B. Pretty weird to see Caleb Angelle so high on the TE depth chart. Figured he'd be 5th or 6th.
C. Why is Charles Alexander penciled in as a starter when he hasn't even been at fall camp?

It is a depth chart. Not necessarily the starters. I guess the coaches feel he is ready to play at this point. That could change throughout the week.

Lastly I cannot for the life of me figure out why they don't just list Trindon Holliday as a freakin RB, he's almost exclusively in the backfield when he comes in on offense. When he lines up at WR he never does anything.

I think that we are gonna see Trindon used on screens and occassionally on a deep ball. I also think he'll be used as a distraction for the other talent on the field at times.

They are more of the speed rushers I would want on the ends whenever the starting 2 ever need a break.
Well that's what Alem and Tremaine do, so shirt 'em.

Riley is one of the best tacklers I've seen in a while. He should do very well
yep. a gorilla with a chainsaw dick. worked with the guy for the past two summers. him and kelvin. guy isnt the most ripped player in the world but hes built like an oak tree and moves very well for his size. trying to put perry into perspective goes a little something like this:
"luke sanders with some stank on it". just watch the middle tennessee game from last season.
kelvin on the other hand, im kinda worried about. from the few times ive talked to him he doesent seem to be all there. i didnt think he weighed 237 either. more like 225-230max. if anything, i havent seen a lick of adequate pass coverage from either of these guys in the few snaps theyve had. they all seem more of the run stuffer line backers. makes you appreciate ali highsmith that much more. we'll see. alot of nickel package that is. lol

Why would the coaches put Lafell at KOR. Guess thats why I'm not the coach. LSU has two experienced receivers, why put the one with the most experience at KOR where he could get injured.

With all due respect to Marlon Favorite, I think Nevis is decidedly more talented than him. Favorite is a good player; Nevis has a chance to be a great player.
If (God forbid) Charles Alexander continues to wrestle w/ nagging injuries, I would expect to see Nevis starting along side RJF at DT.

That doesn't exactly allieve my concerns for the kicking team.

This is so freakishly ridiculous. Somebody on one of our opponents' offenses could possibly lose their life this year.
