Chancey and Corley

Corley will probably get some mop-up time this year (along with Pep Levingston).

Aghayere may well redshirt.

Trindon seems buried to me, or is this about right?

It doesnt matter where he is on the DC. We put him in when we want to do a jet or option deal.

Wow. Drake Nevis wouldn't be listed as a 3rd string DT for any other team in the country. hell, he'd probably already be starting for 95-100 teams. LSU is LOADED at Dt.

yeah, thats pretty ridiculous. He is one VERY talented guy. The few times he played last year I certainly noticed.

Ricky Dixon making the 2-deep is the only big suprise on that list for me.

8 WRs made this "two deep". pretty much anyone with a scholly that isn't a true freshman

Okay, I'll play. Hialeah, FL? Rivals 4* OT, 26th best OT in 2008, according to Rivals. Scout had him at 42 and a three star, and maybe that's we people around here weren't overly excited. He's also the half brother of Willie Williams (yes, that Willie Williams) so I hope that he doesn't have similar off-the-field habits.

He's the best DE prospect we've had come in, but he's had some injury problems in the past, and it may be a good thing to redshirt him. With the depth in front of him, he won't really get meaningful reps anyway (Jackson, Pittman, Johnson, Alem, Levingston, and Corley).

Next year will be his time to shine with the top two leaving and after them nothing set in stone.

John Williams not on the depth chart, even in the return game. It's a shame such a talented kid can't find a niche.

He's a redshirt freshman. His time will come.

Loadholt is as nimble as John Goodman. I don't think we missed much. He is very overhyped.

KOR 8 Trindon Holliday 5-5 160 So.
1 Brandon LaFell 6-3 209 Jr.?

Wasn't Willam's in that 2 spot last year?
LaFist kinda scares me back there.

I agree. I'd much rather not have someone who can snap the ball deep or kickoff on our team in favor of another RB and another WR on the 8 deep chart that will never see the field.

I think both he and Corley are fantastic prospects. When kids like that come to LSU, going back as much as 8-10 years, they have to know that they will probably redshirt, play sparingly as a RSFR, then get into heavy rotation as a sophomore.

Yeah most teams are stupid for not getting two scholly kickers that dont even place kick. fricking backups are for the birds.
