Only way I can see an LSU-Pellini divorce that doesn’t bleed LSU out. A top-shelf coordinator/aspiring head coach isn’t going to just accept that without settling out of a contract. He’d look like an incompetent cuck. Not unless retirement is his next step. Bonus: There are still a few games left to evaluate Raymond as a DC.

Isn't Raymond coaching the defensive backs who don't know how to line up and then blow coverages? I think he has enough on his hands now.

Put down the bottle. That's the exact way to bring even more strife into the program.

Raymond might not even be a competent DC; you don't have any idea. This reminds me of the Mawae for OL coach crowd.

He'll do that next year. It's all part of the O coaching method:

1. Hire an expensive coordinator you have to fire after one season;

2. Promote from within a guy no one else is looking to hire as a coordinator;

3. Hire a young coach to help the DC --- leading to a championship

4. Overpay Orgeron and spend an offseason making him think he is the best HC since Vince Lombardi

Spend 3 years repeating steps 1-3

Maybe we can bring in Muschamp as a defensive analyst because he won last another couple of weeks
