On the bright side: we have a chance to upset higher ranked Moo St for homecoming

If LSU puts that same effort into State as they did Kentucky, you’ll be upset all over again when State beats us by 17.

Texas was ranked number 1 and lost to an un-ranked team. HE WAS COMMITTED TO THEM. Not LSU. LSU didn't lose Easton Royal to Florida. Texas did. Not only that but Florida got its cheeks busted this weekend too. Texas is a significantly more expensive program than LSU and lost to an unranked team. Oregon is a lot more expensive and lost to a team this weekend they shouldn't have. TAMU is more expensive than LSU (they're lying if they say they aren't). They got their cheeks BUSTED this weekend. There are a lot of teams in more dire straits than LSU.

You're spinning a narrative that's just not true.

LSU got beat this weekend and dropped 12 spots. That's about the only realistic thing you said.

I just don’t really get emotional anymore - it’s not college football, it’s amateur athletics who are making millions

Sure but let’s not act like LSU wasn’t in the mix and all in on getting him to stay home. By all accounts we were the favorite to flip him from Texas and got outbidded by Florida.

I’d rather drop that bag on a proven commodity at the college level in a marquee WR transfer, not a freshman. He hasn’t proven he can make the jump yet. Spend that money on someone that has shown they can.
