we need the front 7 to be the MVP, both starters and the rest of the depth chart. we need to stop bama from wearing out our DL and killing us in the second half. ditto for Arky. bad news, Bama will have an improved DL this year.

I'm going to go with Jamal Adams. Smart, experienced, should get the help he needs up front to be in position to make plays.

I think Neal, Godchaux, Key, & Adams will all have huge seasons. I feel like if they've picked up Aranda's schemes this could be a season where we set school records in TFL, INT's, & sacks

Tolliver won't be the MVP (that's beckwith) but he is going to ball this year

The secondary is staked. Sort of a shame we play wisoncin and a sec schedule. This team would lock down the big 12

Key

If i was a coach i would be sending the 13 minute lowlight real of ref not calling holding while Key was getting facemasked/closelined. If OTs are forced to play semi honest that dude is unstoppable.

Yea KT is a star and nobody really talks about him. Usually we overhype players, but seems like it's the opposite for KT. Kids a baller.

Anyone think with all the attention Godchaux and Key will be getting because of their pass rushing ability, that Neal might lead team in sacks.

Well he led the team in sacks last year so it's not that far fetched. But Key will be in a better position to get sacks since he will be a pass rushing OLB and Neal with be a defensive end. Usually the OLB gets more sacks. JJ Watt is an exception to this though.

ARANDA

He will allow every one mentioned before in this thread to play to their potential. This defense will be special.

I think TV will have the biggest impact but at NG he won't accumulate enough sexy stats to get MVP

This so I will go with Key or Adams. Though TV and Beckwith are the most important to stay healthy.

I'll vote for Brandon Harris and his ability to govern a ball control offense. A great offense is the best defense.

The defense will be well rested when coming out on the field with lots of 3 & outs.
