The DB’s are getting embarrassed

We have the best corner in the country and you’d never know it. Otherwise, we have the top talent in the nation. Bo is ruining these guys.

We are 13th in the SEC in pass defense. Horrible!

It’s on Bo and ultimately, it’s on O.

It’s on the head motherfricker in charge. O’s biggest strength last year was hiring rockstars around him and letting them do their thing. It is shown that when he doesn’t have rockstars, O doesn’t have the football knowledge to get the shite done. Take Matt Canada for example

The hire of Pelini is actually the norm for O. Brady is the outlier.

Canada
(Promoting) Ensminger
Linehan
Pelini
Brady

One of these things is not like the other.

The fact that O is the 2nd highest paid HC in the country is a huge joke and even bigger indictment of Woodward.

O has virtually NOTHING to do with game prep/play calling/scheme. And for good reason! When he tries to do more that be a mascot and recruiter these are the results

Canada ran an offense that put points on bama. Canada and o just didn't get along.

Outside of joe Brady, o and e put up zero points on bama in 2 years.

Never seen a defense this bad.
Feels like it is linebacker and safety talent issues.
But, it is also bad scheme or bad responsibility coaching.

We clearly do not have top talent... especially at safety.. our D line is not winning one on ones... our Dends get locked up by the tackle and backs run right by them.. our Oline gets no movement at all.

And we are playing two true freshman QBs.

We lost 17 starters.. we have about 70 scholarship players. No spring hurts even more with that kind of roster change.

If we hold this years class together. And get our new guys experience. 2021 was always going to be a better year.

Everyone lost spring practice

Lots of teams lost players

We have had good recruiting for years so we have good players

We’re 5 games in and nothing has improved. It actually looks worse

It’s coaching

People keep saying this but it is complete bullshite.

O has hired exactly one rock star in Brady.

He inherited Aranda.

Every other hire since he got the job has been terrible to barely adequate.

O is more concerned with loyalty and that’s going to cost him.

He’ll have loyalty because no else wants his assistants

It's really in O. How about going hire a DC thay actually knows how yo defend modern offense bc Bo has 0 clue on how to defend modern offenses.

Of course everyone lost players but the amount of players lost for LSU has been unprecedented. It is clear we just need some better players overall especially at lb and safety. Then somehow teach the players the coverage scheme.
