This is what happens even when the star drops into coverage, and you want to bring him into the box?

Two good DEs would stop it, but if the defense can't stop it, they quit. Running QBs and not taking yourself out of a game kills a defense. Taking yourself out kills it, too. That's why you don't do it, but you also don't make the tackle. Wait until they all form a union and negotiate lesser punishment for missed tackles, and maybe even go on strike.
