What is really amazing is that whole offense is on an NFL roster except thad moss. And he might make it on a practice squad.

However, that was mainly to evaluate him there "if needed" to see where he stood.
They liked what they saw so he's what I would describe as "depth" at guard and "emergency" at OT. They do see him as viable everywhere but C, hence made the cut.
