Perhaps, but I think if I were defending I'd be more sanguine with a long delay to reach a decision.
This isn't an open and shut case since there is supposedly conflicting testimony, the standard to charge is low compared to convict and the DA has a lot of power in that room.
A quick decison could be bad for JJ, IMHO.
Unless you are dealing with jury nullification.
