I can't imagine any classless act by Les Miles. It seems to me that Petrino thought LSU was running up the score. It would have been easy enough to do. Arkansas was in the same shape Ole Miss found themselves in.....pretty helpless. Miles was merciful, IMHO.

Thanks for the compliment. A lot of folks on the Rant don't appreciate anything posted that is longer than a few sentences. I can appreciate their sentiment and entitlement to their feelings and opinions.
I asked myself how I would feel if this was presented to Petrino to read. I would be fine with that except I would prefer to edit the name-calling a little. I guess I showed a little lack of class, too.

This is what I was being told as well. I didn't want to type it out in the event that it wasn't true. Even if true, it doesn't excuse Petrino from the way he behaved. The person I was arguing with is somewhat close to the Arkie program. Maybe I can give him the OP's letter to pass along to Petrino.

I've read some REALLY stupid shite the past couple days by some Hog fans (don't EVER go onto hogville)...for instance a few claimed that Petrino was upset for Jefferson's post TD celebration of "acting like he was ripping his heart out of his chest, poking fun at Garrett Uekman"...no joke, they actually claimed that

Petrino must have watched enough film to know that Jefferson always does that when he scores!
The Arkansas fans must be clueless, as well. I am certain that the last thing Jefferson was considering was that poor Arkansas kid's heart failure. I also feel certain that Coach Miles was not yukking it up about the same thing.
LSU was celebrating the TD. That's it. Arkansas fans can believe what they want.
