Is this true? Are we making him a WR? Will CG be the QB? Anyone have good information?

It's pretty much what he was last year.

Maybe the backup, JJ will be the starter

So what is the original source? A TD thread?

If JJ is the QB the season is over. The whole "who will be the new coach is sure to be the topic next year."

True actually. What I mean I think it is where most people saw him going in the future. It's RB or WR and I doubt he goes as a full time RB. He was a hybrid last year and probably will continue to be no matter what he is listed as.

Ok but you said he was pretty much a wide receiver last year. Most of the time he was lined up as Wild Tiger QB or RB.

We are going to have a disgruntled player.. he came to LSU to play QB?

In short, they plan on under-utilizing him the way they did Trindon Holliday for 4 years. Great.
RS has got to be feeling a bit lied-to about now. I really hope he doesn't leave, but I couldn't fault him if he did.

he will line up everywhere, but for the need to classify, he'll be listed as a WR...think Harvin

Really? Do you know about the converstations between RS and the staff? Saying he feel lied to is a pretty big leap.

He came with the opportunity to play qb. I guess that he was given the opportunity and it didn't work out. I don't think he'll be disgruntled.

while there are certainly players who were under-utilized, I think we got the most out of Trindon...

this is great i think most people that saw him play felt like he was a super athlete not a qb and when he came he stated he would play whereever including db if need be i see percy harvin with gonzalez their maybe 5 to 10 carries a game then catching passes much how many believe reggie would be best utilized in the pros think its a great move for sheppard that he will love
Posted on 2/10/10 at 7:43 pm to WoodenNickel
I was railed before the season started for saying that Shep would be a WR primarily by the time he was done at LSU.
One idiot even made it his sig quote.

uhhh he played qb all spring and all fall practice. Hes 4th on the depth chart at QB. You dont think shepard realizes that. You dont think he plays an active part in this decision?
You are a fool IMO
