Yes. You wouldn't care what your hometown thinks of you? Everyone cares and his parents still live in BR.

You need to reevaluate what you deem important if you think a kid pocking bama would actually cause real backlash. My god.

And you think people will treat
him like shite because he chose bama?

Love yall. I guess im grown enough to realize that a kid picking bama over lsu wont make people do anything except say something under their breath. Dylan moses has no reason to make up an excuse to choose bama over lsu. None of the people in his town will do or say a damn thing him or his family.

Ha ha. This is moses' qoute. quote:Oh yeah. No doubt. That would have been the school I would have went to if Les Miles was still there,” Moses said. “It’s a done deal (now). He’s gone. I still have a relationship with him, but I haven’t spoken to him since he was fired. I’m still going to keep a close connection with him But yeah we should take your opinion over what Moses actually said.

Read your own linked article. Right after he says that he goes on to say this:

"One of the biggest reasons why Moses loves Alabama so much is because of Tide linebacker Reuben Foster. Moses describes Foster as his “big brother.” Foster was assigned to be Moses’ host for his official visit.

Foster told him about what to expect if he chose Alabama. He told him about how he needed to be patient with the coaching staff if he didn’t play immediately as a freshman.

Then Foster told him what Moses had been wanting to hear. The star linebacker told him he wanted him to follow in his footsteps and commit to Alabama.

“When Reuben came to me and told me he wanted me there, that right there just clicked in my mind,” Moses said. “He told me that the night before. When your idol football player comes and tell you that, that just sealed the deal.

“When he said that, it made me so happy inside. It made me just want to commit off of that. On top of that, I was thinking about once I finally got (there) wearing his number and honoring him. That was one of my thoughts, but I’m still thinking about it. At the same time, just being in the same presence as him was great.”

Moses has described Miles as a family friend, and he would have played for The Mad Hatter if he was the Tigers coach in 2017.

Lol, so if they were such good friends why decommit from him? If he was going to LSU when Miles was coach why ever decommit from him? That was his guy right, why not support him?

A recruit still has to weigh his options and miles was on the hot seat. Im glad you finally realized that the official visit ,you kept claiming disproved his qoute, was after Miles was fired.

I find it extremely laughable that you posters actually believe a future nfl player would just lie to appease lsu fans. You guys have a real sense of self worth and the worth of your opinions.

Wow. The official visit you keep posting about HAPPENED after Miles was fired. You not only dont understand how recruiting works, you dont understand time.

Anyway just forget it.

Im sure the opinions of LA residents made a future nfl player lie.

He decommited in August of 2015, well before Miles was on the hot seat. Everyone had high hopes going into that season. And he decommited from his guy. In August 2015 LSU had everything going in its favor and his sole reason apparently for going to LSU, Les Miles, was in high standing. So why decommit?

Considering he has said his dream is to open a sports academy like IMG in Alexandria one day, yeah I think he cares a little about what the residents of that state think.

"I have plans to major in business and minor in communications. Bama has a great business school, and getting a degree from it would go a long way toward preparing me for a life after football.

One day I want to go back home to Alexandria and build a state-of-the-art training facility for inner-city kids. I spent the past year at the IMG Academy down in Florida, and my experience there inspired me to try to create more opportunities for kids who share the same drive and passion as me. That’s my dream."

The point people are making is that Moses de-committed while Miles was the coach. If he would have went to LSU for Miles, he would have never de-committed in the first place. What he said afterwards is BS.

The point

The point should be that 70% of the 10 top players in this state didn't sign with LSU. Try as much as you want, but that's on O and not a good sign for LSU. We all should be able to agree on that.

When the choice is O or national championship coaches, O and LSU are not going to fare too well.

Alleva is an idiot for turning our program over to a DL coach. I mean really, what AD of a national power school does that shite?

You probably should start following Vandy recruiting, they're a lot more transparent and it'll be easier for you to understand. You'll actually be able to take things at face value.

Actually it doesn't matter whether Moses was pissed that Les was fired and that made up his mind or if he had already made up his mind to go to Alabama.. either way it happened it just emphasizes the point of how hard it is to keep together a recruiting class once the head coach is fired... some recruits actually develop a relationship with the head coach or offensive coordinator and some wonder about whether a new coach will perform or what the offense will look like or even which coaches will be around to start Spring Ball. It doesn't matter if O was the recruiting coordinator, he was a DL coach and not the face of LSU. O was able to maintain a top 10 class... yes he lost some in state recruits... that actually makes what he did even harder to believe... because the kids he did get in large part were not homer kids that grew up loving LSU.. the late additions were out of state kids a lot of who were linked heavily to other Power 5 teams. I think O did a good job of filling needs other than at RB.. That was one of the things we all bitched about was lopsided recruiting classes heavy on the sauce (DB, WR, and RBs) and light on the meat and potatoes...

Yeah because we have never had players decommit and then recommit. Ill take the words the recruit actually said over the opinions of people that actually believe moses needed an excuse to sign with the most successful program in cfb. You people that actuualy believe he or his family wouldve endured real transgressions for picking bama are clueless. No one wouldve said a damn word to him or his family except behind their backs or just like you guys are doing on a message board.
