Played against his old team and lost. He pulled several players aside after the game and had discussion. Im assuming they were our leaders (Beckwith/Jamal/Davon/etc) but I'm not sure. I know for a fact Dave Aranda does not like to be beat or outcoached (he was not, but he knows it was the first game implementing the d and there were some busts).

With that said, prepare for our defense to be extra salty and have a chip on their shoulders. We all know as the year goes on, the defense will get more aggressive and run smoothly. Just hoping Cam and Miles realize they are making fools of themselves.

I like the man until proven otherwise. I don't believe the defense will quit on him. The offensive skilled players have got to be pissed right now

The defense will get better and better, as the year goes on. Love the Aranda hire.

What busts? Completions to TE?

Defense will be legit. Offense and special teams needs to help them out. I actually thought they played well despite having to spend 3/4 of the game on the field.

Even though I graded the defense as B+...... They were NOT what lost the game.

OL: grade D-
QB: grade C-
RB: grade B+
WR: grade C-
ST: grade D
DL: grade B
LB: grade B-
S/CB: grade B
Coaching: D

Wouldn't you be emotional if your defense just outscored your offense and it was obvious that your boss didn't give a shite!?!?

I get the feel that Aranda is a Chavis style coach. He loves his craft but doesn't see himself as the leader of a program.

Defense gave up 16 points. Three on a short field dumbass gamble. Three more on a TO.

Defense forced three TO, scored a DEF TD and turned the ball over on downs once. Held Wiscy to 3-15 on 3rd down.

The defense was fantastic.

nah that fat oaf just didn't have it in him to be a head coach. Aranda is really young he will be a head coach one day. Guaranteed.

I was very concerned about DB's losing position (particularly TE). We did not adjust to the success of W; what will ALA do?
