Remember a couple of years ago when the poster Jeeves swore he'd cut his nuts off if we didn't host? Classic.
I had completely forgotten about that. That was some good stuff.
Yes, it was great stuff.
I love TD.

Of course I do, but the talent level is so much greater in College baseball than MLB. With the facilities and money in this program Appy st should NEVER take 2/3 from LSU. IF you believe differently, then you grossly overestimate the parity in college baseball between the SEC and lower tier conferences.
You continue to make this blanket argument that is very rudimentary, and the stadia has no direct correlation with the given returning talent and experience one program may or may not have to begin a season. How many LSU guys are getting full schollies? A team like Stetson has never gone on the road and beat some more talented regional host teams??? I know they have beaten very good GA Tech teams that hosted with MLB talent on Tech's roster. College of Charleston or East Carolina never won games against more "talented" teams? Maybe ASU has more seasoned players in position to begin the season than LSU, maybe they do have some talented guys in their lineup. Did LSU even have any video on ASU's Sunday starter? No inferior MLB team ever beats a superior team badly? You watch much MLB? The Braves have a history of being overmatched by replacement pitchers filling in for injured opposing starters that they have never faced and often struggle to put up a run, it happens like clockwork every season. And no, its not like NFL match ups as MLB has much greater variation in roster budgets leading to greater top talent on higher budget squads than NFL talent distribution on its respective teams.
If you dislike the current team so much why do you bother following it? I think the guy that used to run the program with great success would be the first to say how much more difficult it is to a consistently upper tier team due to how much the overall competition in the sport has increased AND limited scholarships while MLB continues to skim the best segment of the talent pool every year.
