Big thanks to D. Williams for his time at LSU. What a true Tiger he was. It had to take a serious set of balls to sign in the same class as Leonard Fournette, knowing you would be in his shadow. Guice emerged and he then fell even further into the dark, but he never quit, never transferred. He kept working and kept taking advantage of his chances. He took a massive step forward this season, and was a great running back for us.

I hope this kid the very very best in whatever he does. He has the attitude that I hope every LSU player comes in with.

Thanks for 4 great seasons D Will. And thanks for stepping up this season when you were needed the most.

did he put up another 200 total yard game?

I love how nice his hands are out of the backfield!

I don't think he had the receiving yards last night, but he quietly had another very great game. I hope he finds a team in the NFL and has a nice career.

It's always good to see someone's hard work and commitment to his team pay off.

106 rushing
56 receiving

Could have sworn that reception was a lot longer. But I may have had too much to drink.

And contrary to what some others have said, he showed some good cutting ability and some speed. Team player extraordinaire, too! So, one of my top 3 favorites this year.

Next year, Williams will be on an NFL active 53-man roster.

Book it.

Patriots will pick him up in the 4th round and he'll be a beast.

Yuck. But if he goes on to have a 10 year career with the Pats then good for him I guess.

I think he's the prototype NFL back. Good hands, solid blocker, great vision and power. His speed isn't crazy, but his acceleration is the balance. I think we'll see him become a solid contributer at the next level.
