Efficient, took what the defense gave him, and hit on the deep ball.

The pass to Gage on the sideline was beautiful

That was the most beautiful pass I've seen from an LSU QB in ages.

I love how he checked down the receivers and if his primary was not open, he would go thru his progressions. Great game by him and our receivers.

Saying he's underrated would be an understatement.

2 of his 3 completions would be adjusted out since 1 was a throwaway and 1 was a drop.

Played about as damn near as perfect as a game as he could be asked to.

I keep looking for what made Score Board posters criticize his arm and I just can't find it.

About as good as you could ask for. He made great improvements since last year. He also had a lot if time to scan the field.

It was the throw to Chark on the first drive where DJ had to come back and basically go to the ground to catch it. (The long third down)

I think Canada knows what he has with Aranda for starters. Seems like he wanted to see etling prove that he can do what he did. Eased him into a rythm and didn't ask too much early. We have Aranda I believe that's gonna keep Canada from getting too crazy with play calling. He had to do that at Pitt. Not Lsu.

Dillon and Gage looked fantastic. Caught the ball with their hands, and ran crisp routes that got them great separation.

Etling was basically perfect. 14-17. One pass was dropped, & he threw 2 of them away b/c everyone was covered. He also scrambled twice(due to everyone being covered) & picked about 5 yeards each time. This was easily Etling's best performance at LSU. He took what the defense gave him, hit his deep passes, & didn't screw up once.
