I said it about a month ago when I ran across the father of one of the offensive lineman.

I watched clips from Anthony Jennings missing on throws 7-8 ft over WR's heads from this past fall practice. that was against air.

You have zero clue in what he had to work with at Purdue. He is smart and can make short throws accurately. No one is anointing him the starting position but he was young at PURDUE and has had a year to learn our offense. He seems like the type that Cameron has had success with time will tell. But it is pathetic you mf's jump in with both barrels blasting telling us how sorry he is. You trying to make damb sure there is no positive comments on your watch aren't you. Pathetic.

I'm willing to give the kid the benefit of the doubt. Harris was my guy and kinda shite the bed this year. If Etling can help this team, more power to him.

We taught mett worse right? Gtfo. Cam has had success with real smart qbs that might not be the most athletic.

I'm for whoever can best lead the team and can perform in clutch situations....black, white, or other.....its never bad to have options.

Is our QB coaching worse than Richt at UGA? Without a doubt.

Why's Etling one of those?

You have no fking clue whether it is or not. Cameron did great with mett in his first year here. He had Jennings in year 2 and BH in year 3. I'm not willing to say that's all Cameron's fault...in terms of development. I can't imagine many qb coaches making either of those two work without completely revamping the offense.

Etling got into Purdue and made a 31 on his act. He ain't a dumbass. But I see what your intentions are here.

You have a bad imagination.

Vandy should have the best QBs in the conference every year then.

I'd like to see what he can do. Surely not sold on the other two.

McMillan or Etling, if Harris doesn't produce early I hope one of these guys is given a chance.

We can't anoint anybody to any position. We need a true competition in the spring. May the best man win!

Maybe better Ol, wrs, rb? More experience? He is very smart and all we need is serviceable who has a high football IQ and can complete critical 3rd and 7 passes. Not like bama has trotted out superstars...just smart serviceable qbs... Its all LSU needs. If Harris can suddenly read a defense and complete a short pass...then he is our man. If he can't, consistently, then it appears we have options

I am not saying he is not smart. I really don't know nor have seen anything that addresses his intelligence. What are you basing your statement that "he is very smart" on? Do you believe Harris and Jennings are not very smart? And if so, based on what?

Well someone told me Harris was dyslexic. Not saying it's true but if it is this might explain why he had trouble learning plays.

Yeah but he is a pocket passer, is highly intelligent, and extremely accurate. Nothing like Harris and Jennings, but like the 3 QBs who won national titles at LSU. His starting record. passing percentage, TD to Int ratio and level of competition be damned.

If you notice I said he was running for his life behind a horrible oline at Purdue. When he gets time he is very accurate. Watch his film. Maybe that's what you're missing. Have a great day.

I guess you didn't watch any LSU games this year, huh? So the 50+% completion percentage does not reflect his accuracy, right? Or the terrible TD to Int ratio? Or the terrible won/loss record he had. So he is accurate when he is not rushed by the defense. Oh, OK, got it..

Nobody cares what happened at Purdue.
If he can help this team at the qb position then you should be all for his progression, at the very least be be a proponent of the competition he can bring.

LSU dumped Jennings for Harris we can damn sure dump Harris for etling.
It's not like he's it a lock on the spot based on his play.
