Rosier - The guy is not afraid like Etling is some times, especially against Bama. Rosier's problem is throwing, he's very inconsistent, but he will take off and run to get a first down to keep a drive alive.

Maybe 7 weeks ago I would have said Rosier too.

So you think Etling has improved over the course of the season? He looks the same to me.

I don’t think he’d be doing this badly against Pitt.

Rosier has a combined 28 rushing/passing TDs on the season.

Etling has 13...

Matt Canada should've brought him to LSU with him.

And you don’t know how to do anything other than read stats. Miami runs a spread and throws the ball a ton more than LSU. The amount of TD’s mean nothing when your offenses are this different. Learn something.

And Etling has 2 INTs vs 9 for Rosier, a higher completion percentage which is likely more 3rd down conversions and a higher yards per attempt. I'm not pumping up Etling, but Rosier is crap.

That's because Etling is handcuffed.

The difference is coaching. Richt has proven he can run and win at a big time program.

Before the season ends Miami will have 3 losses:

Pitt
Clemson
Bowl opponent

I have a guy on base I work with who is a Miami fan and I've been telling him all season Rosier stinks and Miami is not as good as their record.

Not only that but Richt just cost his team a game, likely playoff and rocked his QB's confidence.

Ok, not saying Richt is going to take them to a title this season but they’re having one of their best seasons in 20 years. Miami hasn’t been this good in a long long long time.

Urban Meyer, Harbaugh, or Saban didn’t win titles their first seasons at each school. Richt isn’t in that category but I think he’s a good coach and certainly has Miami better than they’ve looked in a long time.

I agree. Richt is a very good coach. The point is he didn't have his team ready to play THIS GAME. He pulled his QB at a bad time. Earlier in game maybe. When he pulled him Rosier stood there by himself. Never saw Richt encourage him or do anything. He was literally 10 feet away at times. Even the analysts were questioning why pull him then. By the time they get the ball back and he goes in the game is pretty much over.

Richt will will make them better, but even good coaches blow it. Just ask Mullen.
