Fair point. I guess what I meant to say was that I wish we had the Danny Etling of 2017 in 2014. I'm pretty sure LSU would have won the game in that case, because we would have had an actual passing threat. Although Jenning had a good game running the ball, he had a very mediocre game throwing it.

Is his QB rating is relatively high because the defenses are preparing for the run?

The attempt at a diving catch on a play when the receiver fell down and may have been held by the DB that dropped an INT maybr 40% of college DBs would have made.

Gary Danielson made a comment during the broadcast that it would have been a much easier catch if he hadn't held the receivers jersey and knocked him down.

It was a blown call by the refs. Danny put the ball where the receiver was supposed to be on that play. Usually that's either a catch or a PI penalty.

It's also a fact that Florida pulled the same stunt on Tennessee in 15. Ask any Vol fan or watch the final drive of that game.

That's more the Hurt's puts up in the first half of most games. Where was the rest of the offence. Face it you guys think LSU is one QB away from the Playoffs.
And that makes you a Dumbass. You can't accept there was more than one issue against Troy. Coaching was FIRST, among many issues. Some say LSU had too much talent to lose but they sure did. Where was all that talent was during the Troy game? They got pushed around and that is a fact, Etling played bad, but this was a team failure.

Not only did I do so, but I linked the game and listed the play by play for every single first down LSU got and every play that LSU went out of bounds. I even listed what time the clock stopped and started after each play and how much time was on the play clock when each play after those was snapped.
