Tell you what?

I'm curious why we want to automatically assume one guy is Brandon harris but not assume the worse of the other guy

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say it's bc one player actually played here, we all saw how bad he sucked at LSU and at the other school he transferred to.
The other guy, well not so much.

I'd rather people not say anything about a player than say how great he's doing and it not be true.
Sorta setting him up to fail.
At least in fans eyes.

Some of his previous comments and now this about the future of LSU.

I know most expect Myles Brennan to be the guy at QB for #LSU next year. Don't be shocked if classmate Lowell Narcisse really pushes him for the job. Heard Narcisse is back from his two HS knee surgeries and been wowing the staff with his wheels and big arm in bowl practices.

Rettig was getting the same savior type hype as Brennan is getting right now, and the dude couldn't even field a snap while he was here.

We should be rooting for an open competition where the best player wins, and we shouldn't be making assumptions about kids playing abilities based on playing styles or previous players successes. That's how you end up wih the best player and a great QB

Who's not rooting for an open competition?

Just curious, was Danny Etling granted same courtesy you just said about these two?

Start whoever is the most accurate, who knows the offense, and gives LSU the best chance at running a productive offense.

Glad we've reached the point where we will at least have two possible options at QB instead of going into another year with one SEC caliber QB.

Much different scenario since he was brutal at Purdue and was not expected to ever receive playing time here since BH was coming off a promising campaign. Then once BH went downhill people turned him into Peyton Manning.

Damn, just noticed your picture of Trey Quinn....I think losing him is going to be like when we didn't get Dak Prescott

The sad reality is this neither one could beat out DE. Let that sink in.

Now we are going into next season talking about two qb's and when you are talking about two qb's guess what you don't have one.

I hope for the sake of LSU Canada stays. The reason I say this is he did a pretty good job at hiding DE's deficiencies.

I'm all in with either qb. However I was extremely confident this spring Brennan would have the starting job after a few games this season. Guess what I was wrong! Providing he was better than DE I figure he starts. That statement makes me as confident as I've been in a long time concerning the qb position at LSU.

He definitely has coaching in his future. Maybe he can be a grad assistant and help with the QBs.

Or, Canada could have had something to prove to a guy he thought he could turn into something. Could be playing favorites. Could be let's just go with the guy who's played before in college. Hard to beat someone out when you're not given the chance.

You serious, Clark?

You really thought a TRUE freshman would come in and start over a 5th YEAR senior?

Some people on this board just amaze me. It's like you don't understand football or life in general at all.

Why don't we wait and see how Brennan looks when he's 22. I got news for you. Most TRUE freshman QBs play out of necessity, not because of overwhelming talent.

Maybe we can use them both, like the Hodson/Guidry combo.

Yes I did, most of all hoped he would. Why because DE sucks out loud. He couldn't start for freaking Purdue doesn't that just exude confidence in the position. Do you think I had hope in him after last season? Pretty much sums up necessity for me. I'm sure he's a nice kid & he loves LSU. However he's like the worse dog in the yard just good enough not to shoot the poor bastard. I understand life just fine & mine is top freaking notch. Glad you're amused and have news for me lol GDIAF Like I was saying in my previous post. We as LSU fans are talking about two QB's and the FACT that we are talking about two QB'S means LSU doesn't have one until whoever that is takes the first snap.
