It would be nice if both QB's acquitted themselves in their last game, if your butchered English can be interpreted correctly.

why would any LSU fan have a problem if it happened?

If it happened, no one would have a problem.

To hope for it - I have a problem. This means someone else must screw up. I do not wish that.

WTF dude? You have a weird Lee obsession because I didn't say anything about Lee's length with the program elevating him to Sainthood nor did I say he deserved a Hollywood ending. You're nuts.

Yeah, this is kind of weird.

That certainly works for me.

Put it this way ... I hope JL gets an opportunity to finish his career on a high note. It doesn't have to mean someone else (i.e. JJ) screws up, if that makes you feel any better.

Is that your hope for LSU or Lee?

Re-read the post.

I wasn't trying to knock JJ, I wasn't trying to put JLee up on a pedastool. I want a W for LSU and I want them to do it by beating Bama by double digit points.

As big of a Lee supporter as I've been, his play in the first Bama game was awful. Both of those interceptions were terrible. He has been great in every game he played this season except Bama. I would love to see him make some plays to redeem himself but I honestly don't see Miles giving him PT outside of a Jefferson injury.

I agree with this.

I hope JJ don't get another safety in the rematch game that is what I call awful. A total mental breakdonw . Rith? right .

Looking at Yellowshoes posts, does anyone know Miles' handle on here?

Anywho, to ATTEMPT a rerail, I could envision a scenario where Lee has "one more act" as a Tiger. I'd like to see LSU sprinkle in some no huddle possessions like they did against UO and a couple other times during the season. See the last drive of the first half against UO. It would be necessary for Lee to lead these types of possessions, though.

I personally know Mett, and last time I saw him I asked about the JL/JJ clusterfrick. He simply said JL is scared, and JJ is fearless...the whole team knows it.

I do know through his ________ that he was recently having grade problems, but fixed them. Focusing on football rather than on grades might be an indicator.

That can only occur in a few select scenarios:

1. A trick play.
2. JJ Injury
3. He has to help mount a comeback because we are down late and JJ has been ineffective.

Otherwise Lee has played his last snap. I'm not even sure Les puts him in for the Victory Formation.

It's gonna be Lee with the pooch punt. I'm bumping this thread when Lee nails a pooch inside the Bama 5 to protect a lead for us.

It would be so poetic to have him get over his Bama hump

Let's not forget, Lee SAVED our 2010 win over Bama with his 3rd-and-long pass completion. The young man can do this shite—I have confidence in our QB's to rise to the occasion on Jan. 9 and be key players in securing the W.

Lee's biggest issue has been stated over and over again. He's actually good at reading defense, is accurate, has a quick release, and is an effective leader.

Lee's issue is that he is afraid to take contact. It doesn't mean he won't take contact, but he'll avoid if he can, and often times that will get him to throw poor passes. Also, once he takes a big, hit or makes a mistake like an INT, he tends to press and get antsy. Lee's always been a player that can fight back from a mistake when given a chance to redeem himself almost immediately. He showed this as a Freshman and he showed it last year in the Tennessee game.

Look no further than the UGA game in that instant. Pick 6 on the first play, then calmly and collectedly moved the ball down the field to answer the score.

The bad snap followed by the INT, which came after he got rattled on the hit by Hightower killed his focus in the Bama game. The coaches held him out too long and he pressed on his first play back.

If he isn't willing to take hits to make throws, he'll struggle mightily against Bama. It depends on his mentality going into that game.

No way Kiel starts next season over Mett. Mett will prove to be one of the best QB's ever at LSU. Will be a heisman candidate. Book it!

Lee hasn't been in a meaningful game situation since his last interception in the Bama game. Les will only play him if he has to, which means we're behind and tanking offensively and in need of a spark. That's a situation I don't want us to be close to being in. Therefore, I'm hoping it's Jefferson all the way.
