Hopefully he gets to go to the Sr bowl and does well.
If JJ plays more Lee in the SR Bowl.

No dog in the JL JJ saga. My question is the obvious, Is Bama defense that much better then the other teams we played prior to that to make JL make so many errors in reads and passes. Or was he just having an off day similar to the off day JJ had in first half of SEC title game.
Please don't make this a JL JJ thread way too many of those already.

As big of a Lee supporter as I've been, his play in the first Bama game was awful. Both of those interceptions were terrible. He has been great in every game he played this season except Bama. I would love to see him make some plays to redeem himself but I honestly don't see Miles giving him PT outside of a Jefferson injury.
I agree with you concerning Miles will not give Lee an opportunity to play. Win or Lose, Jefferson is the captain of the ship and Lee will not be allowed on the deck.
JJ should start and play until he needs to be replaced. His play in previous years vs Bama warrants it. I don't see Lee playing until the final seconds (regardless of how JJ plays.)

Can we just skip ahead and go ahead and anchor this thread before it hits painful levels of JL vs JJ arguments?
Its inevitable.

I think Lee would be more effective if they rolled him out and put him in the shotgun. His delivery is much faster than Jefferson's. If you watch the warm-ups, notice the throwing motion. Jefferson arm goes way back before release, JLee has a shorter throwing motion.

I've been a proponent of Lee over Jefferson for 2 years now and I think he's outplayed JJ for most of this year, and I agree with you 100%. I hope JJ has the game of his life and Lee takes knees to win the game. The only thing that matters is winning this one game.

Why does that matter to you. Especially if LSU wins without Lee's contributions?
Are you a dick in real life, or do you just play one on the Rant?

I hope if JJ falters Miles has the guts to pull the trigger however. The only thing I don't want to see is Miles living or dying with one guy.

Myth. Lee was adequate in the first few games. See Lee's box score in Oregon game.
J. Lee 10/22 98 yards 1/0
Defense and rushing have been LSU's forte all this season. Here is Tennessee scores.
J. Lee 13/17 138 8.1 3 0
J. Jefferson 1/3 8 2.7 0 0
Team 14/20 146 7.3 3 0
S. Ware 23 80 3.5 1 16
J. Jefferson 14 73 5.2 1 18
M. Ford 5 35 7.0 0 13
R. Shepard 2 19 9.5 0 10
A. Blue 4 17 4.3 0 8
K. Hilliard 1 13 13.0 0 13
Team 49 237 4.8 2 18
With Ware fading in the last few games, fans seem to have forgotten that Ware was more important than Lee in the first part of the season.

Are you somehow trying to spin this as "not important?"

Why the bleep is Miles against Lee?

Is that your hope for LSU or Lee?

I wish there was, but I would be shocked if he saw the field in the BCSNCG

That score was chosen on purpose. Lee started the game and the game was put away when running game was chugging in the second half. Remember Lee was replaced to make way for a running QB.
Lee's record to start the season was 9-0. Trying to downplay Jefferson as a viable QB, Lee is being given way more credit, while Ware et. al. are ignored in the discussion.

If LSU wins it all, no one will care in six months. In fact, these two will be forgotten a couple years from now.

Again, YellowShoe, this isn't a JJ vs. JL thread. If you are going to make it one, please leave.
The point of this thread was just to restate what Danielson said on a CBS broadcast.
