Too bad many Heisman voters are basing their "research" on W-L record and not the gangbuster stats Daniels has with a commanding lead over the pretenders.

If you ignore the numbers, why would you put Daniels above Nix and Penix?

Now show rushing stats. The Heisman should be a landslide like Burrow winning it but unfortunately Jayden needs a little help to have a shot.

That’s the point. One shouldn't ignore the numbers. After that, it's a popularity contest, not best college player.
Besides, even without "the numbers," I think none of the other QBs can handle the pressure as well as Daniels nor are they better or faster at making reads on the defense as well as Daniels.
Daniels will excel in the pros whereas, based on the games I've watched (Oregon vs Oregon State and Washington vs Washington State), both Penix and Nix, especially Nix, will be flops in the NFL.

Why would Daniels or Nix get it if we ignore the numbers?

Shouldn’t we just give it to the best player on one of the undefeated teams?

All we can do is keep bombarding them with these stats --- email or text these stats to every voter, every MSM Sprts show, personality, etc.

Honestly, because LSU played the #2 toughest schedule -- plays in arguably the consistently BEST conference

Would love to see that here. They take what the defense gives, they attack mismatches, great balances between run and pass, receivers running great routes, and a smart, porcelain QB leading the attack. Our offense feels a little bit of “fly by the seat of your pants” and that’s hurt us a bit if you...
STFU, racist.

I have not seen much Oregon football but I can remember seeing Oregon in the national title game vs. Auburn and also against Ohio State at the end of the 2014.

And their offense now sounds alot like what I saw in those two games, lots of check with me and lots of quick short passes, many of which were passes behind the line of scrimmage that stressed trying to get mismatches on the perimeter and making someone miss a tackle.

Hey, it works -that system has had much success, but as it was proven with the two QB's in the years I mentioned (Mariota being one) it certainly did not prepare them to be successful at the next level and it surely isn't near as impressive as the type of passing JD5 has been executing this season....and again that does not even take into account the running.

Is this why none of your many runners-up have never won?

Bo Nix was the first QB to beat Neon Deion and the Buffs, by a 42-6 clip. That's pretty impressive and needs to be a factor in choosing a Heisman winner

So Nix's average is based on one game against a ranked team.
