Look, at the end of the day, the only possible explanation that an LSU fan can hate on a heisman trophy QB is racism. Just say you don't like Jayden because he's black and move on.

Why is this always the card? Dude has an opinion, disagree with it and move on.

Why else would an LSU fan not like an LSU QB who won the fricking Heisman?

He tried to explain why and you put on your racist glasses.

I don’t agree with him, but there’s not a fiber in my body that would have ever gone to the color of his skin.

No he didn't, he just gave vague nonsense.

Because you're naive.

Yes he did, you just didn’t want to accept his opinion.

People that are racist tend to be the first ones to bring it up. Just because you found his responses to be vague nonsense, and they might have been, it’s still his opinion. Call him a retard and slow and stupid and whatever else you deem him to be, but calling him a racist because you don’t like how he responds to you says more about you and less about him.

Have a good one

Enlighten me.

The only thing he said was that Daniels only beat Bama and Missouri, which was rightfully laughed at.

Like I said... naive.

I didn’t expect you to accept the truth.

You don’t like the guy’s opinion and you took it where you did. Other than that it’s a pretty stupid argument, because Daniels was insane at LSU.

"the truth"

Now you're just grasping at straws.

But back to the task at hand, what relevant reasoning did the other guy use in why he didn't like Jayden at LSU?

Running scheme. The rbs are talented enough.

Is it though? Do we really have a running back that can move side to side? Seems like all we have is straight power runners and unless you can get in a more open field, power runners just aren’t the long term answer.

I've never seen a QB transform from one year to the next like Daniels did at LSU. Given that he had started a lot of games before he came to LSU, I really didn't think he could do it and I'm glad I was wrong.

I said always thought JDs issue his first year here was a lack of trust in the talent around him (specifically at the receiver position). I still say he had the “I have to do it all myself” mentality that first year because in his former teams, he WAS doing it all by himself. I think it took that first year for him to realize “hey, if I chunk this ball to my receivers, these guys can actually catch it unlike my former teams”. I honestly believe he was told by coaches on his previous team to “look for it, but if you don’t feel it’s there, take off running”. I think that’s why he was so hesitant to throw the ball that first year.

Just my speculation.

What the guy said was dumb, but there’s nothing worse than accusing someone of that.

“He didn’t say it but I know he was thinking it” is peak arrogance combined with ignorance.

Again, please come up with an alternative reasoning to dislike an LSU QB that won the Heisman.

Not saying Nuss is bad, but half this board wanting to sit him last year early in the season was crazy.
e

That's because 70% of this board lacks football acumen

There’s literally tens of millions of dumbasses in the US alone. Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity

You're right on the predictability part.

Lol the supply of racism does not meet the current demand. I know it hurts.

The supply of idiots on the other hand.

You say this as if you haven't been paying attention to where the majority of the social leanings of this board lie. I mean shite, we saw it in real time with the shitposting regarding Jayden throughout the season last year.

It wasn't until the Florida game where he cemented himself as a legit Heisman favorite that it quieted down, and even then there were people who straight up said they didn't like him.

Saying that it's likely not racism (considering Jayden didn't have any off the field incidents or make any political statements) is like trying to introduce some weird arse new math to gaslight.

I'm not saying everything is inherently racist, I'm just saying that based on the fact that this guy can't come up with a coherent argument (and that apparently, he's been a Jayden hater on here before) as to why he hates Jayden and instead deflects every step of the way, there's a good chance it's racism.

Jeez, dude, Its pretty obvious. The rest of the team tends to fold under a one man show. We were never a contender his 2 years here. Our Oline no longer knows how to run block, because they just waited for him to call his own number, or take off. Its just a lazy coaching style of football

BTW, the year after Tebow left UF, they went 8-5. And their coach faked a heart attack and quit

Johnny Manziel went 11-2 at A&M. After he left, The Aggies lost 5 or 6 games a year until they fired Sumlin
