Daniels decision making and lack of deep throws handcuffs this offense

Both Travis and Daniels had several drop balls by their receivers but the difference is that Travis gave the threat of being able to make the pass down the field something Daniels hasn't done in two seasons. Travis let his athletic receivers make plays not ours. Daniels cannot throw the deep pass and the one he did throw was severely under thrown to Thomas. Daniels still stares down his receivers and still takes off sure he might break one for thirty but good defenses will just keep everyone up to stop the run and short passes. Last year we heard our offensive line sucks and no tight ends well no more excuses Daniels isn't the answer time to play Nuss. If we don't then the blue print is the same as last year stop the run and don't worry Daniels he can't beat you with his arm.

Travis sees the field better and keeps his eyes downfield better than Daniels.

It’s not on Jayden the online didn’t play to the standard and the wrs dropped balls

yep. Daniels still takes off with his head down. It's in his DNA if he hasn't changed it after almost 6 years in college he isn't changing it now.

Travis (along with many other qbs) understand throwing a WR open.
JD takes care of the football but refuses to throw a WR open. Great mindset I a smaller conference but won’t work in SEC/NFL.
We’ve seen JD’s ceiling.

Travis trusts his WRs, Daniels doesn't. I think Jayden believes hes the only talented player on the team.

JD is what he is at this point & what he isn’t is a QB thats gonna let it rip down the field to his WRs. He will check it down or run PERIOD!!
He may do it against Grambling, Army or Ga State but against a Big Time opponent, in a Big Time game JD mentally handcuffs himself & the team. For whatever reason JD just cant/wont allow himself to RIP IT DOWNFIELD to one of our Big Time WRs (so whichever one it is can drop it)!!!

Someone said its his 5th year he aint going change or something along those lines. At least w garrett we know for a fact he throws it all around the field. Feel like coaches keep daniels in cuz he can run. Still they can get creative and have garrett be qb and move daniels in the backfield go for swings and use his athelic ability. Idk im not a coach

He can be a good QB if he allows other people to make plays too.
Look at the games we have lost, Daniels literally hogs the ball. He has no trust in his teammates.

At this point, I’m wondering if they can coach that out of him. I don’t think they can.
Complete sham of a QB competition

Wrong. Daniels has no pocket presence and after his first read he still wants to take off and run not looking to pass. Sure did Campbell get beat once sure but the excuse of poor Oline is old if your qb doesn't scare anyone passing why wouldn't you blitz as a defense.

He can't. His deep passes are non existent and if and when he does throw deep it's under thrown or thrown out of bounds. Let Nuss play he gives us a threat unlike Daniel. This is on Kelly and Denbrock if Nuss doesn't get an opportunity.

He doesn’t possess that ability from what I’ve seen. I see no progression from last year.

The unsettling fact is that Kelly and Denbrock don't see it.
Five seasons and they still don't get it.
Woodward hired himself another Pelini. With someone else's money He can't blame someone else this time.
Jimbo and Kelly.

Moscona pisses me off like Daniels does no wrong, it’s not all of his fault like most of you feel but to think he’s just this great QB is flat out stupid
