LINK

He has Donte Jackson as the first Tiger picked.
He and Key late in the first, no Guice.

no Guice.

I love DG, and hes been one of my favorite tigers the past few years, but tbh it would not shock me in the slightest if he slipped out of the first round.

He knows dontes 40 time will get him as a top cb. And a lot of cbs go early. Guice will go late first if his 40 time is solid. Should be a first anyways. Key will be high as wel if he has a good combine, but who knows with him. Last year wasn’t his strongest.

Good running backs do not have the value they once had in the NFL...

Depending on the combine, I can see Key late first and Donte and Guice in the second. Not a knock on them at all. It’s pretty prestigious being a second rounder and it means you are expected to be an early contributor/starter

There were several good backs taken early last year, not to mention Kamara who was a later round RB who worked out. So, less value at that position this year

There is a lot of appeal in his sheer talent.

But he poses an interesting liability off the field. Nobody wants to spend that kinda $$ on a guy who could be in trouble alot.

I would argue that good running backs, while in the past 5 years did not have that great of value, suddenly do.

When you look at high rookie RB draft picks who made an impact, the list is actually good.

Todd Gurley
LF7
Christian McCaffrey
Alvin Kamara
Z. Elliot
D. Henry
Jeremy hill
M ingram

Just to name a few.

Interesting. What trouble has he been in at LSU?

I disagree wholeheartedly, considering he had zero discipline issues at LSU whatsoever.

I think he may slip because there are a few guys who will absolutley go ahead of him in the draft at the RB position, and teams just don't put as much stock into RBs like they used to.

Jackson is fast and that is it. He has no ball skills and way undersized, so receivers manhandle him. Did he not get yanked as the punt returner as well, because he couldn't catch the ball? What does he bring to the table other than speed?

what is it with you homers?

Key went dark for 6 months with zero explanation. One of the most bizarre absences I've seen in decades. Then showed up to fall camp fat and out of shape, and gave less than full effort a good part of the season.

Do the P&G glasses really blind you that much?

ETA. I assume the earlier poster meant Key. If he meant Guice, he's nuts.
