I read Dandy Don every morning.
His site gets my day started and I enjoy his LSU spirit.

Dandyjohn, thanks so much for posting about your grandparents. Your grandad is an awesome guy. I live in SC and his site is one of my life- lines (along with TD) for LSU sports news. He always responds to my emails and he so faithful to Tiger fans everywhere. He and your grandmother and your whole family are in my prayers.

Dandy's site was my main source of LSU scoop during my years in London (although I hated having to wait until lunch time for the day's update

DD's sentimental nature and strong sense of family make me really enjoy his bolg...particularly around the holidays....
his football comentary is as much a part of my morning ritual as a good cup of community coffee.....

Don has one of the most informative LSU sports pages available, I would be severely under informed were it not for him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your wife Dandy.

I'm sure you've all read it by now, but Dandy Don got wind of this thread and all of our wishes and thanked everyone in his update this morning. Well done Tiger fans!

Remember folks, we are all one big (sometimes happy) family. The LSU family IS one that rears it's beautiful head every once in awhile!
I like many here, read DD before TD and even before TSD. You could tell long ago that this man TRULY loves his wife. It appears to be one of those "old time" relationships that don't appear to be present much anymore. Good for Dandy Don....and good luck to he and his whole Long family.

i would just like to say good job rant nation. everytime i see a Dandy thread i cringe because most of the time a great tiger fan gets ripped.

You guys think it would help if the Rant Nation made a donation to his site, say each person donate like $20? It's not a lot out of us individually, but together we could help maybe brighten their days just a tad. I think it would speak volumes.
