Just for all those who say he never does:

quote:

Prediction: Contrary to popular belief, I have predicted LSU to lose a few times on this site, although I haven’t done it this year. When I picked LSU to defeat Alabama a few weeks ago, I took some flack. But hey, I went with what I felt and it turned out correct. This time, I feel like LSU is going to come out inspired, play much more competitively than many are expecting and cover the 18.5-point spread. I can’t, however, quite bring myself to predict a straight-up LSU win. I’ll go with LSU 17 – Georgia 24 in a contest that’s decided in the fourth quarter. I’d like nothing more than for the Tigers to prove me wrong, and I fully believe they are capable if they perform like they did against Bama. Even if they don’t, and regardless of what happens in the bowl game, I’ll see this season as a resounding success simply by virtue of where we are today, discussing an SEC championship in Kelly’s first year at the helm.

Realistic. Positive in the fact that he picked a 24-17 score. If it is that close it would mean we played a heck of a game.

I saw that. He must read this board. We are always posting how he never picks them to lose and you can tell he’s a little taken back

Still annoys me he claims to be a football expert and always puts the scores wrong. “I’ll go with LSU 17-24 UGA”

oh my gosh what are we going to do. I can not live like this. I guess we shouldn't even get on the plane.

I don't get those vibes from Scott at all. He's pretty humble in his writing

That would be something if LSU could keep it to one score but I do not see it.

I agree with DD. It’s going to be a closer game then most analysist will give us credit. Give DD some slack. I’ll be in the Georgia Dome expecting an upset.
Perkins will tee off on Bennett!

He never has claimed to be a football expert. He’s just a fan like the rest of us who likes to talk about LSU football and has kept his father’s tradition alive

I usually skim anything not related to recruiting. That’s what what first brought me to the blog. When his dad was alive it seemed to be good source to get first hand info on how recruits were leaning. I got the impression his dad was getting info directly from the recruits. Not sure that’s still the case but occasionally Scott still gets a scoop.

His dad was a high school ref and he used to have first hand knowledge of what he saw on the field, and I think the coaches used to give him some recruiting info. I still appreciate what Scott does

Dawgs will run the ball a lot. Their OL is better than tams. I think they cover and cruise. JD will have his moments where he breaks contain but, it won't be the difference maker. He need's time to read (he won't get it) and throw (he'll have to run).

UT pulled an upset against them a few years ago.

If you lose by 1 or 21, does it matter?

IMHO

Hoping for a good close game

We need to start fast. Being good in the second half doesn’t amount to much against teams like uga

I'd be happy watching this game while upset we lost.

I see one scenario where we get boat raced like TN did to us.

I see the other side where we keep it close like FL game back and forth until the end.
