Those jackass announcers also mentioned that SC had shut down LF and that's why LSU had to open things up by passing to him.

This was despite the fact that the first play of the game was a pass to LF and said after 2 series by LSU one of which resulted in a TD.

IOW, it was obvious that passing to LF was part of the gameplan.

Yeah that just blows me away. 99% of the RBs would be caught from behind.

Forget the DB's look how far he left our Wide Reciever lol

Not to slight him in anyway, but he actually didn't look as impressive, and he'd probably be the first one to admit that. We're used to him picking up chunks consistently. Outside of his long run, he averaged 3.7 yards on his other 19 carries.

Even with them stacking the box he was still getting decent yards.. he wore them down and took over in the 2nd half.. He could have had another 150 yards in the second half that Guice had..

THIS, I really, really wanted the coaching staff to allow LF7 get his 200 yards again. 4 games with > 200 yards would have stood up a long time.

I hope the FB Moore is able to play again soon. They got a lot of yards withouth him, buit he has been playing great and opening some lanes for LF7.

I dont know why #1 didnt dive for his legs at the 25. Maybe the camera angle looks like he is closer than he really was.

That's how it works with a back like him ....The first half the opponent is full a adrenaline stopping LF for 3-4 yard gains with 9 people in the box..after 15-20 carries they get a little tired the rush is over then BOOM 87 yards, their will is broken....from then on its 7-8 yard gains which Guice took full advantage of

What do people expect when you are running against 10 men in the box? It had nothing to do with Moore.

Stop it with this ridiculousness.

He wasn't running against 10 people. Just stop.

I noticed that Mouton had a few pancake blocks.

Outside of a couple missed blocks and penalty, he had a pretty good game.

Yea that's kinda how it works. I'm just saying that those 3.7 ypc were 6-7ypc in other games.

A little drop off vs SC but he's still awesome. It's more worrisome the when a RB does that and doesn't have the body of work LF does.

good blocker, and part of our running success.

True but he also allows the D to have another "big" on the field plus he is not really any threat to make a play. Conversely if a guy like Jeter or Diarse are on the field, then the D has to counter with a S/CB plus the D has to be concerned about them actual making a play.

Fournette is a beast and is a great back, but alot of his success this year has been because of the great lead blocking by Moore. If they stay in the pro style offense, they have to get Moore back to continue to be successful out of the I. Moore is a great fullback, and Fournette would be the first to tell you that, I am sure.
