I remember when Tiger Stadium was feared and the tailgates were insane and the band and crowd was the greatest of any sporting event in the world.
Only an inept LSU admin could ruin that and of course they did.

He was objectively pretty good at Florida until his final season. Three NY6 bowls in his first three years is nothing to sneeze at.
His worst year of those three was the Covid year, and they were almost one win from the CFP until that shoe was thrown.
He just couldn't handle a big job like Florida once the pressure really mounted. He might be successful again at another mid-level P5 program or a G5 school where the expectations aren't so great.

He wasn’t saying that when he got the lone win at Tiger Stadium (the Dak Prescott game). That MST was similar to the team that came in last week….damn near all seniors on defense, and a QB that was on fire. I think we have a better coach now. LSU is the best unranked team so far this year. We’re going to be hated again for all the right reasons….this year.
