The reality is that Richardson was a workhorse whose best move was the stutter-step against OM. He did his job but much of it wasn't memorable. The HB made big plays that changed the outcome of games week in and week out. The definition of an impact player.

The AP does mean something and you should be proud when you win it. We taking home the crystal but you had a great year. 1-1 with the BCSNC. Not bad.
That probably sounds sarcastic but we count 2 AP titles from 64' and 73'. Lost bowl games in both years.
