I think the possibility that LSU could be interested in Mettenberger is the biggest coach's show tidbit in a long time. Props to EVILTWIN for asking it.

He emphasized a transfer being a bigger possibility than a JUCO. It went something like this, "We will be looking at taking a JUCO or a transfer. We prefer to emphasize HS players over JUCO players. But we do realize it is an issue, so it is more likely that we just go with what we sign this year and probably look at a transfer." Very paraphrased, but that was the jist.
